Yup, watching it from the east side of the lake right now. Too far away to tell if there's any aircraft working the fire.

1 house quickly being evacuated due to hay field behind it, somewhere around Dixie Road. Command has set up Smith Creek and Elliot Road. 1 helicopter on its way.

It's in the Smith Creek area. Is that the same spot as the last fire up there? Maybe a flare up from the fire earlier in the week? It's a bit breezy today.

The wind is blowing as a new system comes on shore tomorrow to the BC Coast. It's really moving and the resources are spread pretty thin with Apex, Jura, Murray, Boot Hill all blowing up. Another 2 fire trucks moving down the highway. Homes are within reach.
