I'm not sure what you're talking about it's been raining all morning in the Okanagan. The radar shows that it's lightening up now.

Don't you mean 2.5mm? My gauge only says 2.8 mm.

Crazy! We had a light sprinkle for several hours, but now it's warm and sunny.

Quite a large weather system moving through. It still didn't rain very much in the summerland / penticton area. They've somehow managed to avoid most of the precipitation over the past week.

We have some sunnier but cooler weather forecasted. It's around the seasonal average temperature for this time of year & still warmer than most places in BC.

There's a 100% chance of rain tomorrow for almost the entire southern half of BC (anything below Quesnel)

That is true, and after today's rain, I think we will see the final fire ban lifted. The Chilcotin fire ban has been in place since July 25th. This area is the western half of the Cariboo Fire Centre (area west of the Fraser).

No need to worry though because the unseasonably hot weather is coming back later in the week.

We just have to make it through today's thunderstorm forecast...

Rain gauge is at 20mm. Looks like most places got a fair amount of rain except for Oliver & Osoyoos.
