Somehow re-elected Vernon councillors Cunningham & Lord will probably gloat that they’ve beaten 6 other BC cities. On top of that, continuously pass blame onto Coldstream council & previous Vernon council. Sawatzky used to defend Vernon’s high unemployment rate by stating it as a “Macro Problem” ? Lippert was in “Denial”. Harvey was busy getting “Indicted”....yikes

where is government interfering with Vernon in regards to business
Maybe you should rephrase and say
The left wing pundents and Indians need to get out of the way and let business flourish (B.C. in General)

Re: Vernon and Penticton are near the bottom of the barrel
My post was made up of quotes from one of the new councilors who we elected in Vernon The two quotes are just rhetoric and have no substance to them. But when said loudly enough the public buys into them.
And he is a right winger.
And he is a right winger.

he should be working on finding out why the city of Vernon is so over staffed and pays out too much in wages
and rectify that obscene situation
Find out why we(city) use to use private contractors to do infrastructure reworks and rebuilds and now try and do it all themselves resulting in; it takes the city gang 4 times as long to do a project, costs as much or more and is not near as good of job

i wasnt going to post in this thread , until i seen this that is lol , where to begin and yes jo im thinking of the rules :) let me just say , those so called (indians) are not going anywhere until all the treaties and land claims are finalized . so the sooner you focus your beady lil cowboy eyes at the federal and provincial govt. instead of the (indians) , then the sooner you can cease to fret over what the (indians ) are doing :)The left wing pundents and Indians need to get out of the way and let business flourish (B.C. in General)

Personally, I just can't stand pundents. They usually have leftist and socialistic tendencies.
