Table for Four

Post by driveangry »

I'm looking for a good family restaurant in Penticton for a birthday diner tonight. No fast food joints. Anything new out there to try or a hidden jem you would like to share ?? I tried google but would like to hear from those of you that have experienced it first hand. Thanks

When you say "family" restaurant, I read varied menu with price in mind. The Opus Cafe in the Cannery might fit that bill for you. You can check out the menu and prices on their website.

Thanks Daspoot and twobits. We chose La Casa Ouzaria, very good. We have one birthday per month for the next three months so we intend to try the remaining restaurants that you two suggested, thanks again.

If you don't mind driving, Camp Marina in Osoyoos is totally awesome. Worth every second of the trip.

Does the Barley Mill still have a restaurant upstairs?

A delicious and delightful place I've discovered (by word of mouth) is 'The Cubby Hole' on Westminster.

I'm in the Keremeos area so the drive isn't that bad, will have to check it out, thanks

Well worth the trip. You won't be disappointed....

Sorry - slight mispelling - it's Campo Marina. Cross the bridge in Osoyoos and it's on the right.
