Missing Dog

I don't know why these people haven't started a thread on Castanet? Have they considered the coyote factor?

Coyotes are wily fer sure but I don't think they have figured out how to unlatch a gate to a fenced yard, and then relatch after they have their victim. Either someone entered the yard and unknowingly let the hound out and don't want to admit it, or someone stole it. The latter considering the breed is more likely.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

The problem with the gene pool is that there is no lifeguard.

There seems to be a huge amount of missing dogs lately, particularly in West Kelowna and Kelowna...I have heard a few rumours that they are getting taken by some shady people that are selling them or using them in dog fights, but again just rumours, could be coyotes as well.

The search for the missing pup has reached a much wider audience on Facebook, right from the moment they noticed her missing. Castanet is yesterday's news.

The number of dogs that have vanished into thin air in the South and Central Okanagan is extremely worrisome. There are a couple of FB groups dedicated to posting missing dogs, and its surprising how many are never found.

By the same token, I'm surprised also by how many dogs are found that are never claimed.
