sign #2 - Humour had a sore back, prayed, and it healed instantly.

sign #3 - Humour switched cities last minute in Bulgaria, and it worked out well.

sign #4 - Humour heard a loud angelic choir at church - and others also heard it.

sign #5 - mechanics in Bulgaria fixed his car late on a Friday, and it amazed Humour.

sign #6 - radiator in Humour's car almost empty - car worked.

sign #7 - police never forced Humour to pay traffic fines.

sign #8 - brother had vision of Humour dressed like a priest.

sign #9 - dozen people healed of different things when they were prayed for.

sign #10 - Humour goes home day before his father dies.

I can't see anything wrong with Humour travelling the world, telling people to live good, read their bibles, and pray more often.
I'm sure the Mormons, J-Dubs, Branhamites, Pentecostals and others are in eastern Europe, all competing to convince people to believe in God, and to convert the odd Gypsy must be a real thrill- like saving someone from the devil himself.

Without money, none of those religions will be going anywhere or doing anything. So Humour needs to convince some of the richer people in his church to finance his travels to Europe. And that's why Humour lies a little bit - 90% of those signs and wonders were not real signs and wonders.

All churches lie a little bit. Still, there are millions of Christians reading their bibles, trying to be good people, praying, singing songs, smiling to each other on Sunday. And so if Humour, and the J-Dubs and the Mormons and every other church tells a few small lies, what's wrong with that?

I have to comment on Signs and Wonders.

There's no law that says you can't have a sign and wonder. I see Signs and Wonders every day
just outside in nature. But I'm pretty sure there'll never be a Sign and Wonder happening in some
church with a bunch of phony religious people getting worked up by the religious words of a preacher.

This story by Humour is so interesting.

Humour goes to Bulgaria and preaches - hoping to save
some souls. It's mostly phony - like in any church. Humour doesn't care about those Bulgarians.
So none of his 'signs and wonders' are real. Except one.

Humour goes home the day before his father dies. - because he cares
about his own family. If Humour would pray for his own family - it would produce results.
In fact - scientific studies have proven - prayer works. But any religious prayers among strangers
is totally useless. That's why churches are mostly useless.

But all the goofy religious phony prayers and things among religious strangers - useless.

The issue with many people of religious conviction is their lack of ability to respect the beliefs of those who don't share theirs.

Quite often, the attitude is one of hell and damnation being the only option for non believers.

They ask you to believe that theirs is a loving and forgiving god and that we are all gods children but if you have not given your life over completely to him, you will be smitten. Or is it smited? Either way, you aint invited to the glorious afterlife.

For me, it is the hypocrisy within most religions that turns me off.

More blood has been shed in the name of religion in history than for any other reason.

Kind of hard to want to jump on the band wagon when you understand that.

And who cares what someone's 'belief' is anyway. People lie all the time about what they believe.
I doubt we're going to war because the Muslims believe in Mohammad and
they don't charge interest. If we went to war for religious purposes, wouldn't the Hindus
be the first ones to bomb, with their funny elephant god?

We're just bombing them because we feel like it, and it makes some of us richer faster.
