Throwback to 2003 when a fire went untouched for however long it did. Atleast people are there now though.

...for pete sakes - let's not start on the blame game already...people are frantically evacuating to escape this - let's focus on the safety of those in harms way, rather than who screwed up, because quite frankly no one here knows any details about the how and why at this point...

A wildfire is burning north of Lake Okanagan Resort and moving fast, with reports residents in the area are being evacuated.

Emergency officials were witnessed going door to door in the area.

There is a steady stream of traffic heading north on Westside road right now. that would be all the people who have been evacuated. The wind is picking up and coming from the south. This is going to get ugly.

I would imagine La Casa will be next. I am directly across from Fintry park and La Casa. This looks very much like the Terrace mountain fire. Very fast moving fire.
