As much as I'm glad we're getting rain - why can't it do so on Monday or Tuesday, rather than the weekend?

Well, considering how much humans have ruined the earth, I don't think mother nature really cares about which day it rains on.

If the pattern continues, August could be a very dry one.

Tonight Mainly cloudy. 60 percent chance of showers this evening with risk of a thunderstorm. Wind north 20 km/h becoming light this evening. Low 12.

Mon, 27 Jul A mix of sun and cloud. Wind becoming northwest 20 km/h in the afternoon. High 25.
Night Clear. Low 10.

Tue, 28 Jul A mix of sun and cloud. High 28.
Night Clear. Low 9.

Wed, 29 Jul Sunny. High 31.
Night Clear. Low 13.

Thu, 30 Jul Sunny. High 32.
Night Clear. Low 14.

Fri, 31 Jul Sunny. High 33.

And this is different then any other August in the Okanagan?

I didn't say it was different. But yes, some August's are much drier than others.

My Hoildays start in a few weeks so the weather will be cloudy and rainy so don't worry we'll get all the moisture we need then!
