Above Smith Creek?

Just wondering if anyone can see any smoke above Smith Creek this afternoon as a fire truck and command pickup went up to upper Smith Creek Rd a few minutes ago with their sirens on. I can't see anything from the house but my view is mostly obscured by trees. Hopefully it's something minor.

Could be something medically related, I can't see anything here in kelowna but my view isn't that great.

That was my first thought as well but frankly, I'm hoping it's a false alarm entirely. I realized I just can't bring myself to hope for it to be someone else's misfortune. Maybe the fire department folks just wanted to go for a joyride with the sirens on. I'd even be fine with that over the nasty alternatives. :)

There doesn't seem to have been any additional activity since so hopefully it was nothing major.

No news is probably good news. Likely just an unrelated incident.
