Harper negotiated this agreement with no regard for the rules of a caretaker government. Mulcair and Trudeau should both have been consulted during the election and agreement process.
Now they are being told that it is a done deal.
Harper is a one man band but he plays out of key.
We're lost but we're making good time.

Until the actual deal is printed so we all can read it, best to place this thread on hold.

But we already know that the dairy industry is being bribed with $4 billion plus.

But the larger employer, the auto industry, only gets $1 billion.

Where do these bucks come from...taxes?

And Harper did not deliver when the fishermen were also bribed.

If Harper had only developed this in parliament, it might have been accepted.

Democracy? Not under the Conservatives!

So please explain about what you call a bribe.

It is a bribe to get the dairy and autoworkers not to make a ruckus,
just before the election.

Convenient to announce the details for them but not much else.

Where's the beef!?

Since the details of the deal have not been published & it needs go thru the House of Commons to be voted on.
As I said before until we know what exactly in the deal, no sense getting all twisted about it.

You go ahead assume whatever you mind wants to think.

Your.

The Cons seem to be intentionally hiding details but Hillary Clinton
knows enough to not support it.

Trudeau is also shaky with multiple deficit talk.
and how this could affect the stock market.

I'm pretty shaky about it too. Having no idea what's in it makes me that way. I think every Canadian other than the PM and his team of deal makers are in the dark about it as well making them a bit shaky. So unless you have a copy of what was actually negotiated I think it is best to shut your cake hole. Hmmmmm, I wonder if Mulcair is shaky as well?

Everyone is in the dark except Kelowna Chamber of Commerce it seems. How do they know so much ? Or is it made up ?

There have been little snippets of the deal leaked that may have given the Chamber a false sense of hope. It appears that the technology sector may do alright, but again that is just conjecture. Until the document is released and people have a chance to see what is in it in its totality, it will be impossible to judge. What is clear though is that there will be winners and losers. How it will effect Canadians is still unclear.

No. It is clear to the Auto and Dairy industry.
Disaster.

Should be released this week.

Cons will try desperately to play it up.

Is that right? Lets see the paperwork on this George. This deal is far from done. You talk like it is cast in stone. A lot of water has yet to run under the bridge before this is finished. Might be the one action that, if re-elected, will sewer the Conservatives and get rid of Harper. As I say though, the rest of the document has to be made public. I feel lately that the wheels are coming off the Harper Government and that there seems to be discourse among the party. I don't think it would take a lot for the Conservatives to call a leadership review and if they do win it will be by a very narrow margin leaving not a lot of cushion in the Parliament for him to hold on to a majority. A slim majority might be a good thing.
