Where are the women?

Post by I Think »

Does god think that women are not as capable as men at writing down his stuff?
Why are there no women prophets or other bible writers?
Or is this post just demonstrating lack of knowledge by a non believer?

Seems there were just a few, and rather obscure at that.
What books or chapters were written by women?

Paul was a trans. Was born a woman. Beside from that, most of the Bible has unknown authors. It could be that women wrote books like Esther and Ruth.

Why on earth would this be surprising? The world was a man's world, in general, until quite recently......and still is in many areas.

Let's just admit it, you're not really interested in the Bible.

Only a dolt would not be interested in the bible, it is an example of one of the biggest hoaxes ever perpetrated on humanity.

I made an error in the above,
it should have read, "only a dolt or person that has transcended religion entirely would not.............."

Where are the prophets ( ttes/esses ) now ?
Over 2000 years is a long time.
Hard to imagine God talking to so many of them at the time and nothing since.

He still talks to Mormon prophets - duh.
Although, come to think of it, Monson hasn't actually had one single divine revelation yet - well, except for the whole ban the children of homosexuals from the church thing.
Which really seems rather un god like.
