Your keen wit and knowledge will be missed Bman.

But, since you said a few days back that Spring was only a week away .....

Seedy Saturday Event today at Okanagan College on KLO.

10 am.

Lots of unusual varieties usually and organic farmers selling their stuff. Sometimes books.

UP DATE

Tonnes of books.

Lots of free seeds given away by the Kelowna Foodbank.
They want produce in return.

Lots of rare and unusual plants, especially tomato plants. I turned down a Black Krim :200: I can't believe I did that.

But I got Owens Black Beauty and a few others.

Go, go now. It's still on and there's lots of parking, KLO location.

And it's cold out today. So cold, I'm not going out there yet.

Got lots of plans though, lots.

I missed the Seedy Saturday, think I'll head out for the one in Summerland April 2 - all going well. Family schedules tend to be complicated.
I haven't failed until I quit.

Nice day to get your peas in if you haven't yet.
Inoculating them will help improve the yield and fix some nitrogen.

I'm going to plant potatoes this year. I had given up as our soil seems to encourage scabbing and such. So this year I'm going to plant in a wire cage above ground. I picked up a small package of banana potatoes at the Greenery to try. Now to decide where to put the cage......

pbear, did you mean "not" planting potatoes in ground?

I plan to get potatoes in early this year. We didn't do any gardening today as we decided to get owl photos instead.

You never said anything about the pepper seeds, you weren't interested in trying to grow any of them?
