Well if excessive force was not an issue I guess we would know both sides of the story. My comments are not directed entirely at you fancy. But I will say your insinuation that there was sinister reason for Jessie being in his driveway is where I have a problem. It seems that with very little information people are willing to jump to the conclusion that Jessie was stealing or something.

well I'm sure he wasn't there sweeping his driveway for him pretty sure he was up to something as for the homeowner he definitely took it to far but if you've ever been the victim of a home invasion I could see how things go bad

wow, Blackhyper, it never even occurred to me that this poor kid was only looking for an address...

makes this whole thing even sicker than it already is..I hope this man gets charged with first degree murder..

my heart hurts for his parents, what a way to lose your son because someone has serious anger issues...

I can't even comprehend how another human being could beat another person to death like that ???

Yes Westside now you get it. Put all the known facts together and the real story is terribly sad. The headline stating that Jessie may have been a theif is where it all goes wrong. The poor reporting on the part of castanet doesn't help either. There is no doubt that the charge will be amended to a more serious charge. Jessie is brain dead and they are just trying to get Blake his brother back from military school so he can say goodbye. Absolutely heartbreaking.

I wasn't insinuating a home invasion but I have been the victim of one and if I see someone in my driveway at 4:30 -5:00 in the morning I'm goanna get a little bit excited I'm sure there is more to this story than we know and I doubt this young man was looking for an address none the less he didn't deserve the end result

Kris Tecichrieb has been charged with attempted murder, odds are this will be updated to 1st degree murder.

Soo sad. Kris you just robbed your own children of thier father, and another family of thier son. You will have a ton of time to think about your anger behind bars.

I would post to the story from another news site but its not allowed here.

I don't know what he was doing but it sounds like you do so please enlighten us the looking for an address is not realistic unless he was delivering a pizza which leads me to believe he was doing something he shouldn't have been like I said I'm sure theres more to this story

It seems we have reached a time where a significant portion of the public has lost confidence in the RCMP's and the Law's ability to maintain justice and ensure the safety of the general public. In decades past, people were deterred from taking risks for fear of getting into trouble with the law, and that's because the law meant something; it no longer means much. It's a sad commentary on society when the people feel the need to take the law into their own hands.

Among the public are individuals who are so very hurt over many things that they are intolerant of the most minor slight or inappropriate encroachment. Whatever words were spoken during that confrontation resulted in a blind rage that has brought grave results. None of us were there to see what happened, so we'll never know. It's terribly sad what this boy's family is going through.
