That is a deep and weighty question I plan to lose sleep over.
More so, I don't know what the heck I've gone and done! You should see my deck! I bought two of those mini Reisling grapevines today. They're supposed to get two feet tall and one is already giving out grapes. Independent had LOTS of them left too.

As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

I think that salads kept in the fridge should be "buttoned up".

I believe I'll just keep growing salad greens, no Batchelor Button flowers involved.

One new garden bed in - I'll be getting tayberries in the fall so until then I have some strawberries (those 3 packs) and a few perennials from the sale QK told us about.
It's a bit fuzzy, but there you go. Getting all the grass & weed roots out was a nightmare. Made chopping around the rotten tree trunk easy by comparision.

Looks good, when did you want them? In October or Late Sept?

Let's go with late September. I want them to develop a bit before the frosts hit.

We're picking 'cots like fools and making chutneys in various forms. Sweet, savory, inbetween.
Who is digging potatoes already? I've got one variety already laying on the ground.

Lucky you ... might are just ripening but there are still tons of green ones. Damn stupid tree.

Are you researching recipes for them? I've worn out my search tolerance level for all things apricot.

Not really. I'll dehydrate some, make a few pints of jam and chutney, then the neighbours can pick the tree clean.

I've been picking warbas for about a month. I've been picking Yukons for a while now too.
That's the blessing of loose soil and potatoes. Reach in, grab the big ones and leave the small ones.
SOMETHING is tunnelling in my spud patch.
That's ok tho.i have a sick spud crop.
Love it!
I plant spuds to pick in succession. Early to late.
If I had my way warba would be the early and mid taters.
Nothing like a fresh warba spud.
You girls need any dill?
Before I take the mower to it.
Cancel that. I think I know the answer.

Alas, I don't need any dill this year but anyone else might.
Do you need goji berries? I have four well developed plants, three up for grabs.
