If everyone is born an atheist, how could there be any belief or concept of a God when there was no one to teach them about it to begin with?
They say you can't believe everything they say.

Pretty sure that most infants grow up to be adults....even ancient humans.
Once those infants became adults, they wanted answers for things around them that they could not explain...volcanoes, earthquakes, lightening, floods - and thus gods were born.

Indoctrination vs Teaching...how religious indoctrination of children is NOT the same as teaching a child language arts, history, science or math.

Wow, atheists have a lot of faith to believe such indoctrination! Anyway, just for fun, start watching this video at the 12:49 mark here he uses the same argument you just did...

Because that has never happened? Religion was always learned right back to when it was first created by men trying to explain the world around them. It is a product of memetic evolution right up to present day.

It doesn't take 'faith' when you have seen it first hand .
How anyone can deny that the indoctrination of children in to religion occurs all over the world on a daily basis is beyond comprehension.

Humans in general strive to be the top species and will try to dominate all others, no matter the size or strength. Funny then that basically all cultures around the world would have come up with pretty well the same idea of a God which would humble them, like atheists declaring they are going to be a slave to a master.
They say you can't believe everything they say.

You're not serious ?
Do you have any idea how many different forms of gods from the countless cultures there have been around the world throughout history ?
The idea of an Abrahamic god head figure is relatively new, historically speaking.

Yes, many... all of them much more powerful than the egotistical humans.

A great many people don't want to believe aliens exist because they'd have to admit we were less advanced. Same idea with the human ego.

It was parents I was specifically talking about. To a newborn and even not yet born Mom is the higher power.

We are not born Atheists, to be an Atheist you have to have knowledge about God and then not believe it. Can't even say we are born Agnostic you again have to have knowledge of God before you can determine that you aren't sure if he exists or not. We are born Naive, that is all.

You're really stretching the definition of a higher power.

You most certainly do not have to have knowledge of god and then deny their existence in order to be an atheist.
Atheism is very simply the lack of belief in gods.

a·the·ist
noun: atheist; plural noun: atheists
a person who disbelieves or lacks belief in the existence of God or gods.

I think it is safe to say that infants are born lacking belief in the existence of gods.

Richard Dawkins' implication that babies have a default theological position of atheism is as silly as assuming a default language or nationality.
