Size: 400.0 hectares (estimated)
Status: Active
• 0% contained
This fire is displaying rank 3-4 fire behaviour, which is a fire with a moderately vigorous rate of spread, candling and short-range spotting. This aggressive fire behaviour is partially due to the strong winds in the valley. The fire is currently moving upslope away from homes.

Evacuation Order is in effect.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Yes a bit of ground to cover and it is all on edge. Nothing in that area of BC is flat. Not to mention it is one of the driest areas in BC.

What? It rained & it's much cooler, the risk is basically nothing now. There's no reason to keep the ban up.
