Re: B.C. Political Ads
If they want an accurate attack ad then just show any politician making promises they haven't kept.
Which is pretty much anything that comes out of their yaps.

You've got that right, the idea of any BC politician claiming the moral high ground is laughable. Still, the NDP ad campaign thus far is based solely on character assassination. I sure hope they intend to get around to some actual issues soon.

Hmmm, can you point out any Liberal or third party Liberal ads that haven't been character assassinations against Horgan ?fluffy wrote: You've got that right, the idea of any BC politician claiming the moral high ground is laughable. @fluffy:
I'm supposing that besides watching ads on TV, you read things in the written media, otherwise you wouldn't be here. If you were to read the MSM, or even independent news media and the opinions of bloggers, you would know that the NDP has brought forward several 'actual issues'. You don't seem to be learning anything from the debates on this forum.

What I am seeing is the NDP, in the few issues they have brought up, being on the wrong side of almost every issue, or coming up with failed ideas like $10 daycare with no idea at all how they would be paid for. The NDP needs to go. Vote Green everyone!lasnomadas wrote:, you would know that the NDP has brought forward several 'actual issues'. Re: B.C. Political Ads
Yes, they have repeatedly brought up education, medical care in general and senior care specifically, along with daycare and affordable housing, but have yet to supply any meaningful details or costing. Instead they spend their money on "Let's get her!" ads. If you can link to any more comprehensive information, please do so.lasnomadas wrote:...If you were to read the MSM, or even independent news media and the opinions of bloggers, you would know that the NDP has brought forward several 'actual issues'. Re: B.C. Political Ads
Did someone mention that weird 8-bit NES-style ad? I don't get it, it's like it's specifically targeting 30-year-old males who used to play Nintendo in the 80's.
Why target this demographic?

Re: B.C. Political Ads
Yes, but as stated, the ad is focusing on people who do or used to play old 80's Nintendo games from the original system that released in 1985. I find it difficult to believe there are a ton of people in BC who play retro Nintendo games, but maybe.George+ wrote: A lot of Nintendo players out there.
