I too have some respect for Andrew Weaver and have voted Green.
But Clark and the Liberals have screwed up so badly that only the NDP,
Will move them out.

But better to vote Greens than Liberals.

John Horgan sees this election as a "must win" for his party so if they lose the Greens can step up and challenge the Liberals directly. So don't vote NDP. Vote Green.

The Greens want to slap a capital gains tax on houses over a certain amount, and that's got me nervous. Because once the Government opens that particular "door", even a crack, they'll never close it again, and the threshold will just get lower and lower.

For many of us ordinary folks, our home is the only chance we have of getting ahead in life financially. And if the Government begins to tax our principal residences it will negatively impact everybody.

Don't vote Green.

There appears to be a strong "kick the bums out" sentiment in the province right now, probably not that dissimilar to the mood in Alberta in 2015. Of course we all know how inaccurate the polls were in 2013 so NDP'ers shouldn't count their chickens yet. Still, even people who aren't NDP'ers are rightfully annoyed by many of the actions of the Liberals. They should have banned corporate/union donations long ago, they shouldn't be setting down policy and then throwing local school boards under the bus as they did in the South Okanagan, and in general they shouldn't be too clever for their own good.

At this point I'll be surprised on May 9th if the Liberals win. The longer a government is in office the harder it is to be re-elected and the Liberal government still carries some baggage from a whole host of issues over the past sixteen years. At this point I'll be surprised, surprised but not shocked, if the Liberals win on May 9th. The economy is strong but with Horgan promising free stuff (e.g. eliminating bridge tolls, eliminating the MSP premiums), and with people tired of the current government, the stars might finally be aligning for a party other than the Liberals.

all the libs had to do was boot clark out for a younger more progressive leader that actualy aligns with the fed libs instead the conservative party of canada . and her remarks weed in bc will see a one year raise in age is was just plain silly . potheads are willing to vote now .

After WAC Bennett left office he was interviewed and he said that he didn't see the 1972 defeat coming but he had thought he would lose the 1960 election. We might just see history repeating itself here with the surprise win of the Liberals last time and a defeat this time. If the Liberals lose it would be the first time that the NDP has won when there hasn't been a divided centre/centre right vote. "Kick the bums out" sentiments can trump many other things and it might be happening this time. We'll see. I still don't trust the polls but the movement away from the Liberals is certainly evident in the latest Mainstreet poll.

I expect more Liberals sliding to the Greens and even some to the NDP.

John Horgan strikes me as a decent guy.
