The Tolko Barge.
I was informed it was available at the date of reschedule, as if to insinuate how very fortunate we all are to have been able to reschedule our country's 150th Birthday Lightshow.
We are "fortunate" to have been able to ...yuh...whatevah...

Go to Osoyoos...they have probably the best Fireworks in BC for Canada day! Rumor has it that they may fire off more than a 100K of fireworks....but if it is bigger and better than last years...then thats going to be awesome.
**Disclaimer: The above statement is in my OPINION only.

Yes, send a message to the City of Kelowna by heading to Osoyoos instead of stopping here.

Well done city of Kelowna - you too Festivals Kelowna........said no one ever.
I guess I, like many others, will be spending Canada 150 celebrations elsewhere than our own home town. Shameful.

Re: Floods postpone fireworks
Hopefully those who wanted to see fireworks either went north to Vernon or south to West Kelowna, Penticton or other areas. Since the biggest city in Okanagan was a bunch of idiots, blaming it on the flooding. I guess Vernon, West Kelowna & Penticton was not effected by flooding.
Other then that complete screwup hope everyone had fun yesterday.

I am not worried about it... Not the end of the world..
I can fully understand there are some problems on the beaches, power is off to some facilities.. Having thousands trampling around on wetter than normal sand or lawn is not going to fix things.
We are having problems year.. Maybe try dealing with it....

Very true,..... Kelowna can make up for it at the Bicentennial year. Or July 20th, 2021 when its BC's 150th year in Confederation
