We have to be honest here, there is a generation of new campers that are complete morons. People have raised a generation of people that can't have fun without it being at everyone elses expense. They destroy campsites with garbage and then as a parting gift they leave fires unattended to leave zero doubt that they are in fact :cuss: -holes. The only way to reverse this trend would be retro-active vasectomies for parents of these millenials who are incapable of common sense.

I know I'm sounding like an old codger but don't care, it's getting harder not to just cringe when this age group shows up to a site. Not sure where they got it in their melon that camping involves destruction but it's getting worse every year. Pretty soon there will be campfire bans from the start of June to the end of Sept and wouldn't blame them one bit. People can't be trusted to follow some basic rules anymore. Wish it were different but until those retro-active vasectomies are available a plethora of human caused fires each season will continue to be the new norm.
Remember: Humans are 99% chimp.

If the reports of as :cuss: holes looting & vandalizing evaluated residents homes is true. This is were the military could assist RCMP.

as :cuss: holes will always be as :cuss: holes

yes but they are as we speak converting 6 737 and have night certifaction to fight fires . infact they are the only company to have night certifaction in north america . but according to some posters they arent pros :135:

wayne had c130 ready to go but had to dispatch it to wall fire . his fleet is state of the art and is contracted by us military and us forest service . they do not hire people who dontvknow exactly how to get job done .

Coulsen is trolling for $money$. Does it every time there is a major fire. Did it with Rachel Notley too: https://www.therebel.media/shocking_here_s_why_canada_s_largest_water_bomber_wasn_t_available_to_fight_wildfire_in_fort_mac

As far as I am concerned, Coulsen is the LAST outfit that should be used to assist. Disingenuous twerp.

One thing that DID cross my mind, is that the Canadian military have 17 CC-130Js. What I don't know is if our military is equipped with MAFFS modules to equip them with. Sounds like a cost effective way of bolstering fire fighting capability across the country.

Maybe the provinces, Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan et al should get together and talk to the feds.
