Really eerie outside right now, Coyotes along Tyndal ridge howling everytime they hear a siren. Wind had died down for about 20 minutes but now I see gusts on the lake coming from the west. Still surprised we have power and internet.

Air action is still ongoing, getting dark so they should be stopping soon.

Planes still flying overhead here thank goodness.

Smoke has changed. Going straight up. A signal that wind is dying
I have learned that to be with those I like is enough.

Glenmore Road has been blocked off and people are being diverted from Winfield.
Regardless of who "wins" an election, they always are up against a Silent Elite. Do you believe the extreme poor who voted for Trump ever thought their non-profit support would be slashed right out from under them?

2 Electras doing their last run as well as some Convairs. 2 of the 3 Convairs based at Penticton are back and most likely done for the night. One still out fighting but on it's last runs. Now it's time for the ground crews to get er done. Good luck and hoping they can get control of it.
Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.

Wind has not died down out here, hard to tell but it seems to be coming from the North right now, keeping an eye on Tyndal road direction to see if I continue to stay.

Our cat bolted out the door in the confusion. If anyone in the Jack Seaton area sees a spooked Orange and White tabby (Friendly tho probably scared - ID tattoo in his ear) please PM me.

I hopped on my bike looking for him and stopped at the Park. Lots still burning there and the bombers have called it quits for the night. For those who know the park - if you stand in the middle of the ball field facing toward the lake, the fire is 180* around the park. Wouldn't surprise me if they lose the beer gardens shack.

Took a quick pic - only shows some of the fire. Sorry didn't get more as I was busy looking for the cat.
