Just a heads up, the large smoke drift to the south behind okanagan mountain park is coming from the Diamond creek fire in Washington.

Not that Queen K. This is the large cloud coming from the south that is currently turning the sun red at my place. Actually visual on satellite imagery. Upper level winds from the southwest for the next while. 6000 feet and above. Going to carry that smoke here for the evening if forecast remains true.

I was looking at the whole valley from the Frost Rd area in Upper Mission, we are encased in smoke at all levels.

Very heavy smoke in Penticton just in the last hour or so. Can't see much of anything to the south and east of where we are.

I love it! This article says it's coming from the south, and then the post a satellite map showing all the smoking heading the opposite direction!!!
