Is it just me or does anyone else kinda shake their head with that pissy amount? $150,000.00 ? REALLY ? That's all it cost with all those planes, police, fire dept personnel not just for ONE day but many afterwards. I cannot for the life of me figure out where they got that figure.
Surely to god it HAD TO have cost more easily in man hours alone.
Well one thing I know - taxes in Lake Country any time soon ain't going down !

Seems low, I suspect certain amounts were already included,,or in other words not costed to the fire event such as already on duty RCMP. That's a assumption on my part. It would be interesting to have a break down on how the costs are allocated.

I suspect that the cost of the Provinces part was not included in that, only the direct cost to Lake Country for their part in fighting the fire.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?
