Tonight we had turnips with dinner. First time I've ever successfully grown them!

I haven't failed until I quit.

I am ready to turn the whole garden in some days and other days I'm okay with it.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Well I Have a yard of dirt in my truck that needs to be moved to the new raised bed in the back yard.

I guess I couldn't wait. New box is filled and the extra will top up the other 2 when the crops are done.

Wow Bsuds, you are very efficient. If you get bored, feel free to come shovel soil at our place!

3 days of on and off work and then 1 yard of soil moved via wheelbarrow to the back of the yard.
I am happy with the results but suspect I will be sore tomorrow!
I love the brick corner pieces that the wood fits into slots.

You haven't got anything planted yet though?
If you do, I usually put little stakes at the corners and in the middle of the sides, plus a few in the middle and then drape with dollar store netting.
