This version of the song was produced by Playing For Change. Playing For Change (PFC) is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music. PFC was founded by Mark Johnson and Whitney Kroenke when they began recording local street artists. Mark thought of an ingenious idea to layer tracks by separate artists from different countries over each other, so that they could share a connection and a bond. This resulted in an award-winning documentary titled “A Cinematic Discovery Of Street Musicians”.

In this video, various artists come together for a flawless rendition of this Redding classic. The clip starts out in Santa Monica, then continues to places like Japan, Brazil, Italy, and other cities in the USA as well. Each artist brings his own unique touch to the song.
