Right wing coverage is partly what apologists want to hear, but mostly what the President and Kremlin want them to think.

Yes, I'm not sure what the Kremlin's end game is, other than maybe just simple confusion and interruption of the democratic process so outcomes like a Trump presidency could even be possible. We know that Trump wants his base to believe he is responsible for the bullish stock market, job numbers and "the most African Americans working EVER!" under his watch, and we know he knows his base are stupid enough to believe him - and whatever nonsense fits their pre-existing narrative.

I wouldn't trust a single word on RT about Russia or related to Russia. It's a state propaganda machine for much of what it broadcasts:

This article is more in line of what I am thinking and all media outlets in the west are to blame for the distrust that people have they have turned the news into a Hollywood reality show more worried about drama then the facts.

Sensationalism is nothing new, but our ability to combat it is greater now than in the past. In recent years there has been a rise in the number and thoroughness of sites dedicated to exposing lies, biases and inaccuracies through facts and evidence. The likes of PolitiFact, Snopes, Media Bias/Fact Check, etc. This is probably a reaction to the significant increase in highly biased and questionable content from sources mostly on the fringe of the media and often spread through social media. The biggest problem is that many reject these efforts because it is easier than accepting that their own trusted and often fringe sources are rejected as biased or of questionable accuracy.

There are many cases from history where media was used to push an agenda with the case of Murdoch being perhaps the most obvious example.

Personally what I find most upsetting in NEWS today is how the opinion of Hollywood elite along with families that have been rich for generations, sports stars, drug pushers, porn stars and pedofiles are asked for an opinon. That's about when I turn the channel.

I agree, we really shouldn't give a dingo's kidney worth of value to the opinions of celebrities and others with power but who are not somewhat experts in the field they are discussing.

Exactly. I have a lot of favourite actors and athletes, but I could give a rodent's patoot what their political views are. The people that I admire most include a collection of former elementary and high school teachers, college instructors and assorted friends and co-workers. Not because of their views, but because of their ability to make me test my brain, and think and decide for myself.

Mother Jones, WashPost, NYT, CNN and Yahoo all exposed as deep state propaganda puppets in shocking FISA memo

But you figure the left wing garbage CNN propaganda institute and other such heavily biased garbage media are better? I would believe RT before CNN.

The link shows that RT is right-center bias but CNN is not even left-center bias but left bias. Further from center than even the "state propaganda machine".

Can you please point to where I touted CNN as a reliable source without others corroborating their story?
Yes, I didn't think so. I'm not a fan of CNN, but don't let facts get in the way of your outrage. Typical of right-wing fake news.

A man died and went to Heaven. As he stood in front of the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked, "What are all those clocks for?" St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone who has ever been on earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie, the hands on your clock move."

"That's Mother Teresa's", replied St. Peter. "The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie."

"Incredible", said the man. "And whose clock is that one?" St. Peter responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abraham told only two lies in his entire life."

"Where's Donald Trump's clock?" asked the man.

St. Peter replied, "We're using it as a ceiling fan."

Never said you touted CNN. So your allegation is unwarranted. I asked a question regarding media, never said you aspire to be a CNN supporter. Typical left wing outrage. Don't let those facts get in your way.

The fact that CNN is more readily available to the unwashed masses of stupidity in the USA is very prevalent to any understanding of media bias and media brainwashing. Vast majority of US citizens have never heard of RT but most have heard of CNN. They have more effect on the weak minded. They are the most untrustworthy of all mainstream media.
My opinion of course.
