An update on the site:

A quick update for everyone. The Broncos have graciously agreed to manage this GoFundMe from now on since they're the closest to this situation. You'll see their name listed as the campaign organizer soon, and new updates will come from them. This response was very unexpected (well over 100,000 donations), and I'm grateful the world came together to show it cares and am so thankful for the GoFundMe platform and team - just amazing.

It was mentioned earlier about the organ donor registry. Also might be worthwhile to check whether one is registered. Sometimes people think they have and actually missed a step or think they are registered through another avenue that is not current now. Blood donations are up which is a great thing.

People gathered in a small Saskatchewan community Friday to mourn the loss of Adam Herold, 16, who died in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash.

There are lawyers and others involved to make sure the right path is taken to make sure all funds are distributed appropriately from what I’ve heard.
