Mission Creek
I've never seen mission creek flow like it is right now. Was watching it on Gordon for a while, it was chewing at the creek bank pretty good. Lots of debris in the water as well, whole trees were floating along like toothpicks.

Looks like it's peaked. Coming off now
I have learned that to be with those I like is enough.

Re: Mission Creek
Latest flow forecast shows mission creek up to 160 cubic metres per second over the next weeks forecast, up significantly from the most recent peak today of about 118. i'd be building my sandbag walls higher

It's crazy how much water that is. 160 cubic metres is 160000 litres.

ands that's per second
interesting for comparison sake the Fraser River is currently flowing at about 9,200 cubic metres per second which I believe is the largest river in the province. apples to oranges but boy is that a lot of water moving around. ETA - at the Agassiz station

If your property borders water start sandbaggin yo!
Nechako's been visibly rising and it blows my mind that some of the riverfront properties aren't sandbagging as of yet.
