Was pretty clear in the picture but just learned this is for updates only, which is cool with me.

From my view in westbank the fire is way larger than it was last night

Smoke looks minimal this AM, was cooler this morning and only 23c today should hopefully help get this one under control.

Here's a current pic. Consider it an update. Looking way better.

Just came back from Peachland. It is very windy, but blowing to the South. I would say it is blowing the fire(s) back on themselves. Good for both sides of the lake.

been watching from the nut farm .as long as the wind doesnt change and they keep up with the helicopters things seem much better than yesterday . one thing though i dont see how they are saying this fire hasnt grown for a couple days. it is visually bigger and traveled up the lake

Aerial suppression seems to be very effective against this one. The 2003 fire consumed all the deeper fuel layers in the area so there's probably not much for this one to smolder in after having water dumped on it.

I took these pics today around 2:30. Two pics, of which the second is simply zoomed in. I also played with both of them in photoshop to bring out the smoke in more detail.

I'd love to see pics from the south side looking north.

We were just on a ride above Smith Creek. From the looks of the smoke it appears the worst is heading for Naramata now.

I'm at Chute Lake right now. No smoke. All clear. Wet ground.
