Yeah the smoke was from goode creek. I didn't know that the fire had crept that far to the southwest.

Drove through the area on the way from Kelowna to OK Falls yesterday. Lots of smoldering hot spots visible on the hills from the highway. That house perched on the rocky ledge right above (and across the highway) from the big fruit stand just south of Greata Ranch is still standing, surrounded by charred earth. Quite a miraculous sight.

Does anyone know if the skimmers can fill up from Garnet Lake ?

Bit of a glow on this one again to the south behind the ridge. Wind must've stirred it a little.
