Close the backcountry?

Post by tsayta »

No. No. Nope. No way. No. Of course the stupid poll will feature people saying yes. It's because most people never go there. Have no skin in the game.

I noticed the no "no" in the poll. Makes the poll redundant. Much like the headlines.

There was a "Not Yet" option, could just keep choosing this option. The never ending "Not Yet" option works for me. Should we close... Not yet... Should we close... Not yet....

lol @ no "No" option. Typical Castanet.

Altho my vote would be for "closed to any & all motorized vehicles".
Your bias suits you.

Why not leave the decision up to people who actually use the backcountry. Go back to your sofa and watch some netflix.

Applause for originality and constructive criticism.

Poll is correct with the popular decision....Defiantly.

No, the poll is the way it is because less than 25% of the community are fishers, dirt bikers, open woods hikers, campers. It's easy for them to just click shut it down because it doesn't affect them. Hence my comment, get back to your sofa. It's the same mentality that worked for shutting down the racetrack. More opposed than for keeping it so it got shut down even though it was there before the condos and the people who voted to shut it down were never involved at the track. I am not a threat to the backcountry and you should not be able to tell me I cannot venture into it. If you want to police the area for fires that is fine but to restrict me because you think I am a risk is restriction of freedoms.
