Similkameen fires

Post by Frisk »

Satellite is picking up a lot of heat from the 2 fires in the similkameen. Presumably they're causing the dark haze in the sky right now.

Yes, that's going to leave a mark. You should see the size of the ash falling out in Penticton right now.

We are evacuated and the park has been closed. We hope to be back in the next week. You can go to Wildfire BC to follow the fire.

Last year they evacuated at the end of August. Wonder what will be left of the park in a few years?
Should it even be a park if it's all burnt up? Just sayin. :135:
