I bought a used snowblower. Mrs. Tree shovelled all last winter as I was out of commission. My upper body has recovered enough to put in a full shift of shovelling. Although a little bit of shovelling would be good physio.

I've been servicing this old Craftsman blower. Did an oil change, it was long overdue. Replaced the leaking fuel shutoff and fuel lines. Pulled this spark plug, will get a new one today. It was black, hopefully not the sign of a bigger problem. will get fresh fuel and run some seafoam through it.

Then I will be doing this modification...

A hound dog owned by a hound dog might do it. [icon_lol2.gif]
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

Managed to get one of my projects a little further along.
A 2 stroke 350cc of a fair to significant historic value.
The engine was seized, I got lucky as it was not too hard to
get it broke free, so just ring seized, not crank.

It passed all my internals tests and shows to be in quite good
condition.

I plan to just give it a quick cylinder hone and re-ring the piston,
new base and head gaskets and proceed from there to just sort
out enough to get it fired up before investing too much $$$.

Absolutely every piece of this bike will need to be addressed just
to turn it into usable.
It is missing a couple things that I have a line on.
To go the concours route would require significant funds.
I'll start with usable and build off that, or not.

^^ The thing I kinda find incredible is there are some that will perform mods on cars that might end up close to that photo shopped VW and then put them up for sale. Who buys those things???

People have been doing this ^^^^ for years.
Back in the late 70's and early 80's I know of a shop that
constructed several.
Usually 55, 6, and 7 Chevys.
A few vans also.
