We have not purchased yet but Have decided on a GE Profile range.
If you weren't selling I would advise against Samsung for sure. That's what we 're replacing.

Trail suggested Whirlpool.. the washer/dryer is great, so maybe them.
I found a stove I liked for a mere $50,000.00 sheesh. Hoping to score a package deal

They sell/own a whack of different brands. If you plan on selling soon then I would buy something in your price range that looks good. Just remember that most sellers will price match so buy from someone you trust for good service/delivery etc.normaM wrote:Trail suggested Whirlpool.. the washer/dryer is great, so maybe them.

Costco's prices are better and the warranty is double the other sellers. 2 years compared to 1.

Re: What is the Best Kitchen Appliance Brand?
Have finally committed to a dishwasher - ended up ordering an LG Quad Wash from Costco.
Talked to a repair guy and he said the only thing about them is that parts are expensive and they'll only let LG trained technicians work on them. With that in mind, we opted for the extra warranty.
I wanted white, had to have to have the buttons on the face (not the "hidden" style). Wanted a stainless steel tub.
Wasn't quite willing to pay for a Miele or a Bosch (the low end Bosch has a plastic/steel tub combo, and leaks can be a problem).
When did appliance shopping become so nerve-wracking?
I had intended to go used, but couldn't find anything like what I was after.

Our new Bosch dishwasher has the old Samsung beat by a mile.
It washes better (everything comes out looking cleaner and shinier)
It's quieter (can't even tell when it's running and it shines a red light on the floor so you know)
It fits our dishes better than the Samsung.
It cost a bit more and glad we got it on sale but it is worth it.

Repair guy said avoid Samsung, they're flimsy. We couldn't afford the full stainless-steel tub Bosch, though :/ Hey, one of the reviews warns that Bosch doesn't have a heated dry option, that it uses the water heat to dry (which doesn't work as well unless you have the stainless tub option), and that it isn't bad but takes some getting used to. How are you finding it? I'm thinking you have the full stainless tub?Bsuds wrote:Our new Bosch dishwasher has the old Samsung beat by a mile.

Yes and the drying cycle while not perfect is still better than the Samsung was.Lady tehMa wrote:
