Re: Eyesore
The "junk yard" you refer to was there long before London Drugs location was ever thought of. And long before the highway was put through there. The "junk yard" was way out in the country when it first located there. It's an automobile recycler and performs a useful service, unlike a drug house. Plus the guy who owns it once owned a lot of the north end of Vernon and has bags of money. Any politician who wants to be re-elected would be smart to not provoke him or he'll find himself running against big money. That's the way it works.

Re: Eyesore
Im sure the Junk Yard hes refering to is called area auto sales and its not an auto wreckers. Ive mentioned this eye sore years ago on here and named it the new Dougs Boat Works.

The auto wreckers your link is showing is across the street. The property in question is the one just down the highway a bit (right beside the highway) and if you Street View it, it appears that Gixxer is correct with the name.
Auto wreckers is to the east of 34th and the property in question is to the west of 34th.
