PBO estimates dental coverage would cost about $ 2 Billion over the next year, presumably less after that (which I personally doubt, there are millions of baby boomers with delayed dental health care). Large benefit then to people who have not paid into this over their life-time as other types of insurance usually do. costs of the program, doesn't mean each person would require that). If children were started on the program, it would be less onerous, less stressing on the current number of dentists (they are already in short supply), and clients and their families would presumedly have to pay premiums for this over their life time, as is normally done with insurance.

I can go to other surveys that say "Who will you most likely vote for?" and Trudeau is the pick.
So I think incumbents get low balled in the polls and surveys , which is dangerous cause around 60% of voters are center left. So as I mentioned earlier Polls are more likely honest opinions, actual votes can be strategic in such a way to keep Cons out.

Ask yourself, out of strategic voters what NDP'r or Green would vote Cons to keep Libs out
What if Bernier's 1% of the voters in polls decided it was to risky to vote PPC and voted Cons - what does that really add up to?

That's pretty bad when a hopeful candidate like Scheer is right up there with the incumbent as far as being called an elitist, most hypocritical and fake, especially when he's trying to pawn himself off as "average joe". He's not even in office and he's getting those numbers :200:

Ya most Canadian "average Joe's" don't pull an government MP wage at 25, with a career gofer clerk background.

Except that he's not. Not even close. Boy, the desperation after last night's debate has definitely ratcheted up another five notches in the Liberal war room. Mr. Umm...and Ahhh Justin crapped the bed last night, which was expected, but hilarious to watch nonetheless. But Harper!! [icon_lol2.gif] [icon_lol2.gif]

Pretty stunning achievement, and to take out a guy (Lorne Nystrom) who had been the sitting NDP loser in that riding for over 3 decades. Way to go Scheer! I know one poster who keeps babbling about Nystrom potentially being weak on child porn, but really I think it was more that Scheer was just a much better candidate, representing a much better party.

From what I've read he was nothing more than a clerk in an insurance office, and had left the profession by the time he got close to being a legit broker.

I'm no fan of Trudeau, but the thought of handing the highest position in the land, to someone who's never really held a job for any significant amount of time, is also very concerning. I see him as little more than a puppet, who would be beholden to his master.

Not much need to run for office (Harper) when you can control the country vicariously through another.

I looked at that poll and this is what I saw.

Most Elitist - Don't know 39%
Most Hypocritical - Trudeau 37%
Most Fake - Trudeau 36%
Most Honest - Don't know 35%
Most Straight Forward - Don't know 30%
Most Trustworthy - Don't know 36%

That confirms what I already suspected. Don't know is clearly leading in this election.

That link doesn't answer the question. Why would anyone vote for the lying ethics violator Trudeau? Just yuck.

But soon it will be over. Four years of Trudeau's um's and ahh's have really been hard to stomach.

Trudeau can go back to teaching math, if he can get his teaching certificate reinstated, which is difficult to do after having it rescinded for various reasons.

Scheer and Jagmeet Singh looked great last night.

Lizzy was drunk and the French dudes were on some other planet.

Maybe Max and Justin could trade notes on old girlfriends, and just how much trouble they can cause to one's career in politics?
