He is a great guy. That's why I was so disappointed to see him using negative campaigning.

I think he's a great MP and while I'm not big fan of strategic voting, I do see a tactical error in using 2015 election data.

Today's poll, from 338 Canada, would give anyone that's concerned about a potential conservative win in the area, a much clearer indication on how to vote strategically.

Wow! Looking at the Cons and the NDP out in front but close together. Who would have thought the Okanagan to be so polarized? I suspect this could possibly be due to an even greater income gap than in other areas. Very interesting.

Its the candidate in South Okanagan for the NDP has done a fairly good job. He is by all accounts a nice man. A fair person. That goes a long way with people. From what I have heard Cannings deserves respect.

Hope he loses the riding to a Conservative but thats just me. He will do well in the election. Either win or runner up in a close race

I agree, somewhat.
Cannings is a pleasant sort. Don't agree with his continual push for alternative power sources when we already have cheap 24/7 hydro power available. However I'm very concerned about the tax and spend ways of the NDP. With their policies and anti resource mantra and the liberals spend, spend and pandering to the first nations to the detriment of the resource sector,( brothers drill permits are now 8 months compared to 8 weeks two years ago) having either of those two parties anywhere near governing really concerns me.
Unfortunately, this election has two incompetent's leading parties whose platforms do not resonate with me. The orange party has a decent leader but again the platform does not work for me. Greens... about the same as the stuff I generate with a cold.
PPC party, like the platform and the local candidate. With them polling around 2-3 % is it a wasted vote?

We have a Rhino candidate, too. Their platform is pretty transparent. I'm not sure they'd consider forming a coalition with anyone.
