where did I say that? votes make a difference, but you can't always vote for who you really want to when you are forced to vote strategically. voting for the least crappy option isn't much choice.

Just vote Conservative. Makes the most sense and you are voting to improve the lives of millions of Canadians by doing it.

I predict that within six months Trudeau will be caught up in yet again in another scandal or breach of ethics, he’ll be forced to step down as the Liberal leader to avoid having the Liberal government brought down due to a non-confidence vote.

We have a photo to assist with that. Might have to pull it out afterall if he doesn't. You know, make it happen.

You do know that the election was yesterday right? Seems kind of silly unless you are posting predictions for the election in 2021.

You do know that was your incorrect prediction.

I predict Scheer will have a complete meltdown in the House.

His obsession with Justin Trudeau these last two or three years has been bizarre and creepy.

A lot of these so-called conservatives have behaved like weird touchy uncles ever since Trudeau slayed Harper.

Now that Scheer himself has been whupped, I think the lad is going to go full tilt crazy.

Actually, it was two days ago.

I agree I think he will be tossed for a new leader.
His distain or contempt for Trudeau shows and comes off as amateur and way too personal . He chokes too much under the heat of the press, you can see it in his face and his broken responses.
Don't know who would be a good fit though.

LOL

And I predict that he will ask Justin Trudeau a question in the House, probably related to the latest scandal/idiotic thing Justin has done, and Justin will then babble on about Stephen Harper for at least five minutes while ignoring the question entirely, and Marc Garneau will be doing his best bobble-head impression in the frame behind Justin. Rinse repeat what we've seen for the past four years.

His obsession with Justin Trudeau these last two or three years has been bizarre and creepy.

LOL yes being leader of the Opposition and trying to extract answers from people like Trudeau and Morneau really is "bizarre and creepy" all right. Maybe Climate Einstein will grow a brain and be able to figure out how to do a cost/benefit calc on the carbon tax, but I'm sure no one is holding their breath waiting for that to happen.

Gaining 22 seats is being "whupped" now. From the looks of things the Liberals are extremely scared, and they should be. They and their leader can keep pretending that they got a majority, but that's not what happened. How embarrassing that the high and mighty arrogant Libs will now have to bend at the knee and ask for Jagmeet's permission to go to the bathroom. So embarrassing indeed.

It's nice to know that while every other party is committed to working together to make the lives of Canadians better, Scheer is committed to focusing on bringing the government down. Ironically, it is the same people who are still making excuses for Scheer that have got their buns all in a knot over the Democrats doing the same thing, albeit for better reasons.

Let's just be real for a second... This popular vote narrative is nonsense.

Over 11 million people voted for parties other then the Conservatives. So yes, the Cons won the most votes for one individual party. But the majority of those votes came from landslides in specific regions.

The majority of Canadians voted for parties that want a cost on Carbon. The majority of Canadians voted for parties that have a much stronger plan for Climate Change. The majority of Canadians voted for parties that have far more progressive social ideas.

The end.

Pro Rep would also mean that we'd have a much more dynamic minority situation right now. Anyone else find it weird that the Greens or NDP have more (NDP) or slightly less (Greens) votes then the Bloc, but the bloc has SO many seats at the table.

Interesting indeed.
To be inspired.

Scheer has no interest in what the majority of Canadians want. He is beholden to other interests. By his own words, rather than joining with the other parties to make the lives of Canadians better, he will be spending his time in Ottawa focusing on bringing the government down. Thank God this clown never won a majority. This minority government represents most of us.

This is just not true. Pure Liberal partisan blinders.

In what way are they making the lives of Canadians better? Their policies are brain-dead. Raising taxes through the roof and running giant deficits makes "Canadians lives better"?

It's nonsense only because the Conservatives had the highest of all other parties. If it was the Liberals, the Libs would be crowing about it.

Over 11 million people voted for parties other then the Conservatives. So yes, the Cons won the most votes for one individual party. But the majority of those votes came from landslides in specific regions.

So what? Why does that matter? Do those regions not have the same rights and freedoms as regions that voted for the Liberals?

The majority of Canadians voted for parties that want a cost on Carbon.

Why would people want a "cost on carbon"? What is that? Why do people hate "carbon" for some reason?

The majority of Canadians voted for parties that have a much stronger plan for Climate Change.

When you say "climate change" - are you referring to the unproven hypothesis that man is somehow affecting the climate? Or something else? Why did you capitalize this phrase?

The majority of Canadians voted for parties that have far more progressive social ideas.

What are "progressive" social ideas? Why would they be considered "progressive" exactly? Who came up with this phrase, and why would be it positive for Canada? Can you enlighten us?

I think all of Canada is saying that right now, and rightly so. Trudeau did not deserve another majority.
