Well then, Happy Kwanzaa to you! You should have led with that - that's how we learn of others' traditions!

If I know someone is Jewish for instance - I wish them "Happy Hanukkah", they know I am Christian so they wish me "Merry Christmas"! It's all good!

CHRIST is the ONLY reason for the existence of the CHRISTMAS season. It can't just be changed to anything else. It's not a "trend" or a "fad" or any of "politics'" business - it simply is what it is.

Being "inclusive" does not mean having to give up your own beliefs and traditions so that others can have theirs - it means ACCEPTING that others may feel differently and that's OK.

As certainly as Christmas exists, there are other beliefs that others may follow, and some happen to fall during the same dates as Christmas. That doesn't mean you can, or should, be forced to simply ignore, or re-name, Christmas. You can add them to the greetings you use to the people you know who celebrate them but Christmas isn't going anywhere!

Hope your Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah, Happy "__________" season is wonderful (fill in the blank with your season) - I just hope it was/is/will be Merry & Happy!

....and to everyone peace, joy & good health in 2020 and always!
