Diesel price.

Why is diesel more than gas? Does it not cost less to make diesel than gas?

I find that diesel prices seem to be less volatile and more stable than gasoline prices. So when the price of gas goes up, diesel is cheaper and when the price of gas goes down, diesel is more expensive even though the price of diesel doesn't really move as much as gas. Just my observations.

Diesel used to be substantially cheaper years ago before every auto manufacturer
and their dog started to offer them.

No different than what happened to propane prices when it started into auto use.

What I'll expect to happen with electricity when all that comes on line as well.

Offer something to save the masses money, once enough are on board,
run the price up to the stars.

Refining process 2 things remain at the end.
1) raw gasoline
2) sludge (useless)
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.
