As of yesterday, there were only 20 deaths in Canada from the Covid-19 virus. This is good news because that number represents only 0.00005% of our Canadian population. Even the global infection number represents 0.005% of the world population so when you put it into perspective, WE DON'T NEED TO FREAK OUT ABOUT ANYTHING. You're accurately more likely to get hit by a car on the way to work. Let's all take a collective breath (6 feet apart), calm down and see things for what they are.

A 99-year-old veteran has raised over £5 million for the NHS as part of a fundraising effort where he aims to walk a hundred lengths in his back garden before he turns 100 years old later this month.

Captain Tom Moore, from Keighley in Yorkshire, had originally set out to raise £1,000 but donations flooded in on Tuesday, topping £1 million by 9am.

The war veteran, who served in India and Burma, aimed to walk 10 laps around his garden a day to reach a hundred lengths by his 100th birthday on 30 April. He is now ahead of schedule and hopes to finish the challenge by Thursday.

Update ... However, after a surge of support on Tuesday, which saw the Just Giving fundraiser top a million by 9 AM, Moore has smashed his target and has now raised a staggering twelve million pounds ($14,982,900).

Celebrating the ten million milestone, the 99-year-old's Twitter account said: "Virtutis Fortuna Comes. I want to thank all the people behind the scenes including @JustGiving, @BBCBreakfast and @GMB for being behind us from the start, and all the wonderful people donating!"

Archie Williams was sentenced to life in prison for a crime he didn't commit. After 37 years, DNA tests set him free. See Archie sing an emotional rendition of "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" and see why Simon Cowell will never forget this audition.

It warms my heart to know how much good has come from our catch and release policy. The cops are looking for Nathan Fahl again. In a less civilized country he would be easy to find. He would be in a cell.

Thats because we deal with criminals with butterfly kisses and rainbow sparkles. Poor babies are the victims. Getcha right in the feels every time they catch one that has the ear tag already. Poor thing.

U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday that he and first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for the coronavirus, just a month before the presidential election and after having spent much of the last year largely downplaying the threat of the virus.

Serves them right... Trump and USA's handling of Covid has been a complete failure and joke.. this made my morning... Let's see who's week and frail now Biden or Trump... Unfortunately Trump will probably recover... But still *bleep* eh what a good day! :130:

I can't imagine ever disliking anyone so much I'd wish this on them. What an awful thing to live with - allowing one's extreme partisanship to interfere with one's basic human decency.

There are lots of people this world would be better off without. Trumps poor handling of covid has caused many needless deaths. Does that mean I wish him or anyone dead? no but would I shed a tear if god, mother nature, the universe or whoever decides to let covid takes him out, HELL NO!
