What does 'Womanhood' Mean to you?

A bit of a constrained population to be sampled for a research paper, but as long as it is identified as qualitative research (kinda like a case study) as opposed to quantitative research (where an hypothesis is tested using randomly selected and statistically significant populations) it should be an interesting paper. Hope the final result gets posted here.

I agree, I don't think that this paper is designed to be the final dissertation for a doctoral degree. I believe that the paper is one of many meant to create constructive thinking as part of the "Human Service Worker" program at OUC.

I agree with you Ka-El, in that using this forum is an interesting avenue to pursue for supplementary, non-professional input as a muse for stimulation of further interest.

The hypothesis is based upon a limited group IF, these forums are the only source. I would hope that the student would be using substantiated, medical/psychological citations as the foundation for this paper and use these forums for what they are, opinions.

My story is finally finished.... I got over 94 on my final and for a College paper... that makes me smile.

Nice the way you reached out for knowledge, understanding and just for interest. Shows really initiative.
My daughter had a similar task to complete in College and a very interesting direction came from it.
After completing a similar course, after her report was handed in, she was then, with advise, went down a, lets call it, "realisation" path. She then continued with a report and study on what does, "Manhood" mean.
Thats when she gained a very complete, different understanding that really opened up meaning to her original task.
It wasn't until she finished her work on "Manhood", that she found give a much more complex understanding of Womanhood.
She found she never really had a grasp on what she had thought. It changed her writing on her original paper. More her direction .Turns out, her instructed had heard of this done at a university and how it helped so much to educate, understood the topic.
It was very interesting for us all at home to be enlightened by the further understandings of either one of the gender topics.
Just a thought, But to understand, one, an understanding, view of both, brings a totally new perspective of the other.
