Hey oldtrucker - has the water gone down to normal levels now?

Water receded for a few days but after last nights rain I thought it would spill its banks again-all good so far. The field/pasture at the south end of Bulman is still flooded out....but it's really not a field anyway, it's a wetland/swamp naturally.

Unsettled weather pattern with potential for heavy rain today and tonight.


A frontal system will track across southern BC this morning. In its wake, an unstable atmosphere will give conditions favourable for afternoon showers and thunderstorms that may persist through tonight. Total rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 mm is possible by Monday morning.

While out & about I noticed some pretty dark clouds in the area of headwaters of Mill creek, only a problem if it dumps it all in 1 spot i.e headwaters of Mill ck.

Sorta kinda...It didn't rain as much as predicted and the river didn't breach its banks as of about 0900.

It wasn't dangerous. It wasn't exciting...
That concludes the 2020 play by play Mill Creek flood forum. It ran over the road for a day...but that's it. Properties had minimal flooding in the area.
Tune in next spring for a hopefully boring 2021 flood forum.
