Hair salons and barber shops can open May 19th under phase 2 of BC's Covid-19 and file plans with WorkSafeBC safe reopening in the second phase.

From what I gather it isn't easy to get a hold of the supplies necessary for opening

My concern too. How do they make a living when their customer is six feet away?

Kamloops, and it's perfectly legal.
Got my first haircut in almost three months today. Shocked the bejesus out of my wife. :200:

The shop had three of four barbers working, wearing masks or a face shield. Three chairs inside for those waiting plus a couple of customers waiting outside.
Busy, busy, busy.

Recently I've been reading news stories with the slang term "Karen" in it. It definitely wasn't a complimentary term. And it really puzzled me. So I Googled it:

...used to typify a person perceived to be entitled or demanding beyond the scope of what is considered appropriate or necessary. One of the most common Karen stereotypes is that of a white middle-aged woman, typically American, who displays aggressive behavior when she is obstructed from getting her way; such women are often depicted as demanding to "speak to the manager.

Hey, that's hilarious. Does anyone here know a "Karen"?

I know a Karen (her real name) and she is quite nice.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?

Have a relative named Karen and she fits the definition to a tee. And she wondered why we never told her when we were going shopping, to the movies, restaurants, or just window shopping.

Which coast? There are lots of coasts out there. Why November or December? Why not September......nothing planned for that month as far as I've seen.

There is only one coast in Canada that can experience a subduction zone megathrust quake.

A quake that large would probably affect us too, wouldn't it? This area has a fault too, if I remember correctly . . .

"The Okanagan Valley lies on an ancient fault line which has not been tectonically active since the Oligocene period — 23 million years ago — although it still represents a zone of weakness as a fault zone."

I would be more worried about the Super Caldera under Yellowstone I believe.
