Bkr.All things Jagmeet
Thread for people who want to post about Jagmeet Singh. I'll start. This guy is a clown, and an idiot. But he's the leader of the NDP, so that goes without saying.

I can't even imagine the damage that a tag-team of idiot Justin and bonehead Jagmeet could do to Canada over the next 3 years. Just wow. We're going to end up a total scorched earth wasteland. Move your money into some other currency, as our Canadian peso is going no where but down with these two meatheads in charge. Just yuck.
Jagmeet Singh: NDP Could Prop Up Liberal Government For Another 3 Years
OTTAWA — NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says he could see his party supporting the Liberals for their full mandate.
In an interview with “Follow-Up,” HuffPost Canada’s political podcast, which will be released late Friday, Singh said his goal is to use his current position — as one of three opposition parties with the balance of power in a minority Parliament — to support people.
“Yes,” he said, when asked if he could see the Liberals lasting another three years in office. “The goal for me, like the test is, if they continue to support us in bringing about things, like paid sick leave, that’s something we fought for. If they support us and bring that in, that’s something we can continue to support.
“If we can continue to find ways to help people and they’ll support us in helping people, then we’ll continue to go,” Singh said.
“For me, it’s not about finding a reason to tear down government. I want to use my position to get the help to people. And sometimes that means we have to go to an election. But I don’t want that. I want to continue to fight for people and get them the help they need.
“That’s my operating principle. And if I can continue to achieve that, if our team can continue to do that, then we’re going to continue down that path.”

There's no such thing as gay rights, minority rights, or women's rights.
There are only individual rights. Either we all have the same rights, or we're just groups of special interests fighting for preferential government treatment.

In my opinion I think Jagmeet, Justin and their respective teams are doing a wonderful job. God help us if otoole and his barbaric sheep were ever to come into power.

Re: All things Jagmeet
I personally do not understand peoples questioning of Jagmeet. The man has been quite clear over quite some time that he has no interest in "helping" Canadians and simply "helping" himself look important in the camera while actually accomplishing nothing.
In the end we can accept and understand he is the true image of actual NDP, and nothing of the image that poor Jack Layton had hoped for his party. Though I could disagree with Jack Layton, at least I could still respect him somewhat.

‘Follow-Up’ Podcast: Singh Ready For Another Election, Calls 2019 A ‘Massive Success’
A Liberal-NDP throne speech deal has avoided an election — for now.
OTTAWA — Jagmeet Singh wants to be prime minister, but he insists his career ambitions have taken a back seat amid a growing second wave of COVID-19 cases.
The NDP leader sat down with HuffPost Canada’s “Follow-Up” podcast to talk about how his party finds itself again in a position of power to make or break the Liberal minority government ahead of a confidence vote over the throne speech.
“Conservatives certainly are looking for an advantage and are trying to find an opportunity to go to an election. That isn’t our goal,” Singh told host Althia Raj. “We’re in a second wave now, our goal is to get the help to people.”
Last year’s election whittled the NDP down to 24 MPs, its worst showing since 2004, but Singh called the results a “massive success.”
The party was in a “very bad position” heading into the election, he said, adding should a new one be called in the fall or spring, his party is in a better place now.
Pundits Karl Bélanger, Kate Harrison, and Greg MacEachern join Raj later to talk about the Liberals starting a new session of Parliament wounded after a summer of WE Charity-related controversies, Singh’s role as kingmaker, and what to expect from new Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole.

Singh has learned from McKenna that if you say it loud enough and often enough people will begin to believe you.

I like how ending up with only 24 MP's is a "massive success", but I guess if you are a lazy bum that can't be bothered to visit even remotely winnable ridings then it is a "massive success" that you even ended up with 24 MP's. It shows you there are 24 ridings in this country that will vote NDP no matter how weak the leader is. We know BC sure has those kinds of ridings, including Jagmeet's own riding, in Burnaby, which he probably hasn't been to since the election. Just yuck.

Many years ago I was told by my father that "no matter how bad the Liberals
up, the Conservatives have done more harm to Canada".........he was 100% RIGHT!
........BUT, my father is not around for this version of the Federal Liberal party but I know he would be completely disgusted.
Who would have thought that the spawn of a B.C. woman who suffers from mental illness could possibly have taken Canada to this economic cliff and over and cannot see the disaterous future Canada faces.
Your "sunny ways" is just you and your party of incompetants blowing sunshine up each others
and waiting for the six figure pensions at the end of your reign of tearing down this country.

When I was born, there was a Conservative PM... That PM gave the First Nation’s the right to vote, and appointed the first First Nations senator...
Brian Mulroney did more for the environment than any PM before or after by bringing in legislation to end acid rain...
So no, the Conservatives haven’t done more harm than the Liberals, your father wasn’t 100% right.

Trudeau is so weak that he had to get in bed with the NDP, and drive us further into debt. Another six months of enhanced EI and CRB). At least I am close to retirement, but I fear for my children, gramdchildren . . .

Re: All things Jagmeet
I wonder if the NDP would have supported the conservatives if they were in power? Pretty unlikely! The NDP realize that the Liberals are moving this country in the right direction under very trying times. We should all be impressed with Justin and Jagmeet.

Re: All things Jagmeet
Moving this country into an insurmountable hole that we the taxpayers will NEVER recover from . 1.2 TRILLION in debt and 343 BILLION in deficit . Now the NDP is into the scheme we can expect even more debt and deficit with fairy tale socialist agendas and pie in the sky unproven, subsidized schemes to green the economy. We are so screwed !
