Actually, your premise has some substance. I often think, not totally seriously, that the nutcases who spout conspiracies and rely on YouTube for their medical and public health comments should have their right to vote curtailed. They clearly cannot process the world around them rationally.

Any argument that teenagers shouldn't be able vote can be applied to adults with the exception of time. I've been supporting myself and paying taxes since I was 16. Why shouldn't I have been able to vote then in the system I was participating in?

They also have a vested interest in the direction we go economically, environmentally and politically. The uninformed and disinterested teenagers would be unlikely to vote anyway - much like their older counterparts.
