And I know some of you are drinking to wake up believing BC has not re-elected your NDP nightmare.
And some of you are talking to a great white telephone right now, from, earlier imbibing.

But take a moment to congratulate Horgan on his yes, Majority Decisive Win.

Of course not in the Okanagan, bastion of Socred, er Liberal voters, but what's new?
No one is really surprised.

I wonder how Mr. John Horgan feels right now, knowing he should not have to hold hands with The Greens anymore.

It appears that BC has reached critical mass of government dependents.

The attraction to government handouts (redistribution of private property) always reminds me of that scene from the movie Hannibal, where Lecter feeds Paul his own brain. While a dish of his own fried brains may "smell great" to Paul, the meal had a rather negative and predictable outcome, which Paul seemed unaware of at the time.

Did the NDP win decisively or not? Does this mean that only "dependents" care about certain issues? Or has the Covid19 response from the NDP being rather impressive? All things considered?

Horgan getting in was no surprise.. it's why he called a snap election ( which cost us lowly tax payers how much I wonder?
Of course my riding voted Liberal, they always do. So now we don't even have the ear of John :(

Of course Horgan called the election when he had the best chance of winning. But we would have had to have an election next spring or fall anyway. And we keep hearing about how wrong it was to call it in the "middle of a pandemic". Are we in the middle, or are we maybe just in the beginning? Will we have a vaccine "any day now" or will be having even more cases in the spring or fall of next year with that vaccine still coming "any day now"?

If the pandemic gets even worse over the winter and we need an election next year, will any of the whiners then ask why we are having an election in 2021........... when Horgan could have called it in 2020? Yeah, it worked out great for him. But don't assume the pandemic is ending any time soon.

And Justin in Ottawa keeps trying to manufacture a "confidence" vote that he can lose so he can give us a winter election. But that darn Jagmeet keeps supporting him and preventing an election. Dirty rotten flat broke NDP, they keep voting with the gubment. Want another election called by a minority gubment?

It is unfortunate there are those from the right under the impression the left is about dependence and handouts. There is really no use trying to clear up that misconception as for some these erroneous ideas are set in concrete. On the other hand, it also seems the vast majority in our province have been at least enough satisfied with the direction we're going under Horgan and didn't see any reason to change that. I would suggest the Liberals had another problem and that was their choice of a very uninspiring leader who, fairly or unfairly, probably reminds many voters of Gordon Campbell, and simply could not be trusted.

It is actually so hard to believe that we still see people and politicians celebrity their wins like the people voted for you on the bases of your good for us. Give it a break. Your votes came from a decision of "who is the least worse", not that your "who is going to be better". Our lack of anyone in politics for the last few decades, that is actually capable, brilliant and strong enough to lead us out of the massive mess our country and province's are in is so pathetically sad. Our system has and will continue to fail and ruin us.
Any one thinking this election will provide anything different than the norm is an absolute joke.
In 4 more years we will be further in the hole, more confused with less direction and far more debt.
More individualism, more conflict, more victims.
No one voted, OK maybe a few fools, someone that they really believe can "turn us around for the better", into power.
We all voted for the lesser of evil. The lesser of failure.
We need a skilled mind, a master of change and ability. We did not have that option when we voted.
We voted the least loser into power.

That is where I think politics in Canada is WRONG.

I think our government's main job is to Listen to what we are saying and go from there.
Not who is saying it.

Every canidate in Victoria has won their seat fair and square, so they all deserve an equal opportunity to speak, and for that matter an equal amount of taxpayers $ per resident for upgrade projects.
It's Horgan's job to listen to All Them, sort out the garbage and go from there.

To be fair, I don't think our system needs changing.
Our politicians thinking does.
So if you see someone actually willing to listen and speak up for you.
Please Vote for them and Not the Party.

Oh this is where I really respect Ron Cannon. He is one of the very few that did everything I listed above

I was merely congratulating John Horgan in the only truthful way that I could. To be honest, none of the party’s we have will offer the recipe that the province needs to manage the present and future issues effectively, but the NDP will likely inflict the most long-lasting damage with their menu.

As for their covid-19 response, I would disagree with their success as it is measured by the businesses most directly impacted by their policies, at least those implemented after June - totally unnecessary. That being said, I don’t know what the Liberals would have done for example, so one can’t compare between them.

Let’s see what an NDP majority can do for (or to) B.C. in the next 4 years.
