Castanet news stories

Post by one wheel »

I'm having a hard time believing today's Castanet News story from Kamloops by Brendan Kergin regarding the RCMP Anti-Gang Squad being in the Kamloops area working a 3 day blitz ?

Just when did this occur because I'm sure I've already read that same story & seen the same photo weeks ago but it's appearing again today as though it's brand new ?

Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Well there is nothing in the story to suggest when it took place. At least I didn't see anything.

I don't agree with advertising and contests being labeled as "latest news stories" but we are talking Castanet.
Never argue with a fool as those watching might not be able to tell the difference.

They are usualy undercover, so you might have missed it.

Like the Military soldier scolded by his supierior for missing the past day of camolauge training. The cadet just smiled and thanked him!!

I enjoy the way some Castanet stories end, "Castanet has reached out to (Wherever) RCMP for more details."
and then we hear nothing.

Ever.

This is all going to get removed sooner than later but I gotta take a shot. The stories that basically say, "something happened, we don't know what, we're on scene and will update you once we know why we're here".

That to me is pathetic. For any Police Department not working with media it fails. The media hoever, must be honest when reporting what the Police Department releases.

I do hope this NEW head will shake things up here. I'm sceptical, but will hold out for a bit.

Well, it's against my principles, but credit where credit's due.
Here is an actual example of a Follow-up. Enjoy!
