I suspect some (okay many) residents along lower Shuswap will welcome this of course those with boats larger then 10hp (especially jet boats) not so much.

This bridge is long overdue for a serious replacement, I remember the bridge at Enderby was a wooden bridge like this one.

I would still like to see a new bridge at this location.

Especially if logging is still being done and logging trucks are using this bridge. Plus dairy farm milk pick up, number of large trucks use this old wooden bridge.

Touring pot shops? Quite a few of them there ...
Posters who once get on my ignore list do not get off it easily. They would have to demonstrably improve their behavior.

Work to be done on the old Baxter bridge, according to article a new bridge is planned... current wooden bridge is 70+ years old.

Added later: gasoline is 13 cents per/litre cheaper in Enderby

Bsuds' article is from last April. A 70+ year old bridge surely couldn't need repairs again.GordonH wrote: ↑Jul 18th, 2021, 3:39 pmAccording DriveBC there is work being done.Bsuds wrote: ↑Jul 18th, 2021, 3:29 pm Seems like Castanet News is a bit behind. The repairs have been done already.
