Insane jet powered VW Beetle; supposedly street legal
Street legal??? Perhaps without the turbojet running.
I want one of these just for tailgaters. The acceleration might be scary though.

But who needs speed? The built-in, flame-throwing tailgating deterrer alone might be worth the price.

It may be road legal.
I know that Jay Leno has a Jet powered motorcycle.
I seem to recall a story about him melting the paint off a car at a stop light with it.

I can't see that being legal. Forget melting paint off of cars, what about melting the skin off pedestrians?
